    What is a RazoRock SLOC?

    SLOC is an acronym for Self Lubricating Open Comb.

    The RazoRock SLOC is based on a 1940's vintage razor called the Grand Shave King Self Lubricating razor. 

    What makes the SLOC different is the open comb teeth on both the top cap and the base plate. The design helps to trap extra shaving lather in the teeth providing extra lubrication and glide on each stroke of the razor. Some people even call it the ultimate blade buffing razor because you can go over the same spot several times with less chance of irritation.

    The RazoRock SLOC uses any standard double-edge (DE) razor blades.

    possibly my new favorite 'go to'

    This SLOC RazoROCKS!!. Probably one of the cheapest razors I have, but quickly becoming my favorite. The blade gap is very small, but the blade edge itself is exposed between the comb teeth. This prevents you from accidentally nicking yourself, but getting the job done.

    Love it. My new daily driver. Very nice if you like buffing.
    Like it with a sharp blade and a short heavy handle.

    Good value

    The sloc head is a decent price and choice for a mild to medium shave. Although I have to keep an eye to line up the blad and had cap when tightening it’s worth getting. It definitely allows lather to stay closer to the blade then regular open combs do. Also the threading fits my extra merkur 4” handle so if I was to switch between the heavier bulldog handle I can.
