    Astra Superior Stainless double-edge blades are made by The Gillette Company in their St. Petersburg, Russia blade plant.  Originally they were produced in the Czech Republic but after Gillette purchased the company, production was moved to their premier blade producing facility.  These blades offer an excellent combination of smoothness, sharpness and longevity and are sure to become a favorite.  They will fit all modern double-edge razors.

    Best everyday blade

    These Astras seem to strike the right balance for me in terms of sharpness. I find a blade like the Derby too dull out of the wrapper, while a feather is far too sharp for my shaving technique so with those it's either bumps or cuts. The asta leaves me with neither bump or nick. A++.

Best everyday blade
