(HEAD ONLY) RazoRock Mission Safety Razor Head

Nice to have a replacement cap but I used the original base as this cap/base combo is quite aggressive, unlike the original Muhle.

Bought this not knowing if the sloc would be mild enough for me. As it turns out, the sloc is an absolute gem of a razor. My current and foreseeable future go to daily shaver. However it is to aggressive for against grain pass for me. Enter the mission. For this, it works perfectly!
My Rockwell 6c got dethroned by two Razors that together cost less than half the price. And no plates/switching.
Razorock has won my brand loyalty!

Not sure where the nice mild shave comes from as I find the Mission much more aggressive than my Merkur 39C Slant, vintage Gillette Tech and Chinese EJ-89. Alum block gives me a lot of stinging all over as opposed to very little with my other razors. The Mission has also given me quite a few weepers on the chin and throat where-as the only time I ever got weepers before was from using a straight razor. I suppose as the description says if at some point all my other razors decide to go on holidays there is still the Mission.

Finish is beautiful, as nicely done as the EJ89.

The fit is somewhat looser than my EJ89, requiring a little manual blade alignment when loading, but nothing difficult or troublesome.

The shave is mild but slightly more aggressive than my EJ89 using the same blades. Smooth and efficient without worry of nicks or cuts. Three passes produces BBS shaves with no irritation.

If someone new to DE shaving asked for a recommendation, this would be it. While I think the EJ89 is a great shaver, so is this Mission and at half the price.

while using the de89 since the beginning of me wet shaving i can safely say this way superior and way more efficient. its still mild but even the merkur isnt as good as the mission. This a must have head or full razor for a mild yet efficient shave. Also, the mentor is awesome as well!
