    I love the scent it has and leaves on my face. It goes on smooth and makes a rich lather.

    I wrote the same review for the XXX version of this soap because the only thing different was the smell. First things first-- the smells resemble the perfumes they're inspired by, as well as you could expect a soap to do so. So-- good job on that.

    As for the performance.... When I ordered this, based on the picture and other shaving creams I've purchased in similar jars, I assumed it was soft creamy soap that I'd pick up with my finger and drop in my shaving bowl-- it isn't. At that point, I thought it would be similar to the Proraso tubs that don't work well for me at all. I was very pleasantly surprised. It's probably the most effective stuff I've used to date. I've been wet shaving for about 10 years and I've used the cheap stuff, the artisan stuff, and everything in between.... this is better than all of it. Thank-You gents! Keep up the good work and excellent customer service.

    Emperor soap

    I like to review shave products that I purchase and so I recently bought some Razorock Emperor soap. I bought the Emperor after shave a few years ago and I really enjoy that scent and performance as a splash. The Emperor soap scent is slightly different than the splash. The soap has a unique scent that is enjoyable to myself with excellent lather qualities. The soap scent does linger for a little bit after shaving but not strongly but very mildly and dissipates with in 1/2 hr approximately) . I strongly recommend the Emperor aftershave splash to compliment the soap, good juice. (Similar to Creed Aventus? never tried the real Creed Aventus!)
    Post shave feel is reasonable also but I always add a little moisturizer after shaving anyways with all my soaps.

    Good soap but very drying

    Lather- pretty slick , doesn't leave as much slickness as I'd like. It has a shiny sheen to it. Easy to lather.

    Scent- I believe they fixed the scent strength, because i definitely didn't have any issues with the scent strength. Scent smells good, a little pineapply, and the scent still stays on your face after the shave.

    Only issue I have is that it is very drying. I need extra lotion to keep my face from drying out after the shave. But overall a good soap. The scent and lather are really what make it. Goes well with pre-shave to give you that extra slickness.

    Scent strength

    Very good performer, however, the scent strength is very low almost non existent. I was surprised by this. I’d give it a 1 out of 10 on scent strength. It is really unscented.
