(HANDLE ONLY) RazoRock HOLLOW HD Handle - 316L Stainless Steel
The newest addition to the RazoRock handle lineup is a lighter version of our popular HD handle and we have achieved the reduction in weight by hollowing out the handle by drilling a hole into the handle from the butt end. The RazoRock HOLLOW HD Handle is polished and made of 316L stainless steel. These handles are machined out of high-grade solid stainless steel rod stock. The beauty about 316L stainless steel is its corrosion resistance; 316L is a marine grade of stainless that is more corrosion resistant than both 303 and 304 making for better stainless steel, especially in applications like a razor.
Threading is the standard M5 x .8 and will fit most modern heads from RazoRock, Edwin Jagger, Muhle, Merkur and iKon.
Weight: ~ 2.05 oz / 56g (Approx.) (Compared to ~ 2.6 oz (72g) for the original HD
The handle is 82 mm long and the diameter of the butt end is 14 mm. The diameter of the handle 13 mm in the middle.
Tough to beat this price for a solid machined 316L stainless steel handle, upgrade your zinc alloy handle for a reasonable price!
PLEASE NOTE: The hole is not polished on the inside. The butt end of the handle is polished and there is a small polished chamfer but we did not polish inside the hole. Also, the handles are milled and finished to a tool grade and may have small machining and finishing marks. We think they are awesome but if you are expecting a perfect finish, our handles may not be the handles for you.

My new Lupo 72 with the HD is way too head light. I never even tried to shave with it, and swapped immediately to a Maggard MR11. But I love the HD shape: this handle should be added to every razor pre-set that offers the HD (and probably be the default for those that default to the HD).
I like a lighter, balanced razor. Combining this with the GC 76 was great - just under 85 grams and well balanced between the head and handle. Maybe razorock will make this a standard package option saving buyers are few bucks too!
This handle is a good weight and height. The knurling makes it easy to hold. It works well with my Lupo 127.
A great addition to the line of handles. Provides more weight toward the head of the razor. Here pictured with the Lupo 127.
