  • RazoRock for Chicago is a tribute to all our supporters in the Chicago area. Don't worry, it doesn't smell like hot dogs and the Chicago river :). The scent is a great blend of caramel, jasmine, amber, animalic musk and some woods. For me, the scent has a wonderful 80's vibe to it.

    Soap Ingredients: Stearic Acid, Water(Eau), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Potassium, Hydroxide, Sodium Hydroxide, Tallow Acid, Hydrogenated Lanolin, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea)Butter Fragrance(Parfum), Argania Spinosa (Argan)Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Extract(Aloe), Citral, Coumarin, Benzyl Salicylate.

    Soap Size: 125 ml

    Splash Ingredients: Alcohol Denat, Aqua (Water/Eau), Parfum(Fragrance), Polysorbate 20, Peg-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Menthol, Dimethicone Copolyol, Tetrasodium EDTA, Coumarin, Benzyl Salicylate.

    Splash Size: 100 ml

    Scent: The best way to describe For Chicago's scent is masculine floral. It has a clean mandarin/citrus top note with some 'white floral' (jasmine/gardenia) and amber mid notes. There is a small amount of wood, leather, and powderiness to the dry down.

    Great lather, disappointing scent

    Just like other Razorock shaving soaps, the pather is top notch.
    However, the scent was disappointing.
    It's sort of smells like a regular white bar of hand soap you would pick up at the grocery store. Not an artisan scent in this one.
    My other RR soaps, XXX and Dead Sea, had a really unique and special scent so had high hopes for this one, was a bit of a letdown.

    Fantastic combo pack

    Price was/is great and to make things even better the scent of Chicago is pleasant, aromatic but not overwhelming. The shave soap makes a great lather too!

    I loves me some L'Artisan Parfumeur Dzing!
    Chicago has enough of Dzing in it that I swear RR does to.
    It's rare for me to reach for the same soap and aftershave two or more days in a row but Chicago keeps me coming back for more.

    good products for a fabulous price

    RazoRock makes some the the best and affordable soaps on the market. This Chicago shaving soap is no different. Having lived in the Chicago area for 6 years, and my daughter there right now in school, I wanted to give this duo a try. The soap lathered up perfectly as I have come to expect from RazoRock soaps. The aftershave is pretty good, but not top notch for me. Still, the deal makes it worth while in at least trying.
