  • 100 Bolzano Superinox Double Edge Blade, 20 packs of 5(100 blades)

The amazing Bolzano Blade (or Lama Bolzano in Italian) has been Italy's best-selling, most popular DE razor blade for almost a century. Loved by Master Italian Barbers and experienced wet-shavers this high quality blade is considered one of the finest in the world. It is praised for it's sharpness and unparalleled longevity. I can personally get 7-10 fabulous shaves from each blade and some of my customers report even longer blade life.

The one problem with the Bolzano Blades... they are extremely difficult to find! Even in Italy it's current availability is low.

The current blade is made of stainless steel and has an advanced titanium plating process; this guarantees each blade is incredibly sharp but even more important, they are very very smooth!

The Bolzano Blades are truly outstanding and must be tried to be appreciated. We have done our best to price these blades at the lowest possible retail price in order to benefit our loyal customers. We are proud to offer you these outstanding blades at the lowest price in North America!

    Blades have changed

About 18 months ago, the blades started coming in a new white wrapper. Unfortunately, it's a completely different blade. Before that time, it was a see through wrapper with bolzano written in red or black, don't remember. But the blades started nicking my skin really bad, and afterward I had razor burn. I always bought from Italian barber but I had run out, so I ordered from the big A. I was convinced that it was a fake knock-off, so I ordered again from IB and it was the same new wrapper and same razor burn and cuts. Very disappointing. They were the smoothest blades that I had used for the past 6-7 years. The way I see it, there is no coating anymore and I have 2 orders of 19x5 that I haven't been able to use. Gillette blue has been the smoothest shave since. I have a wirey, coarse beard with dry skin and tallow is a must for my beard.

    Good blade

I like these but I also nick myself more with these than say GSB or Polsilver, my two favorite blades. But I get a close, comfortable shave always.

I realize that blade preference varies widely, for me, these blades are nothing special. I have tried dozens of different blades, from Feather to Derby's. These are closer to middle of the road blades. For me, not much difference between these and Sharks, Rapira or Astra's. I get two shaves at most with these blades.
My personal 'go to' blades are Personna Lab Blues. If I really feel special, I'll dig into my personal stash of Vintage Personna 72's. I can get 15-20 shaves of each blade. I wish they were still manufactured!

    Longest lasting blade

As some say this is not the sharpest blade out there. Well it all depends on "YMMV". I have very hard face hair and not very strong or tough skin so I can get skin irritated in blink of the eye. What I found out is when I shave every other day there is no substitute on market for me for Feather blades. They cut my "copper wire" with no irritation or hesitation. But for every day shave they are little too harsh on my skin. So if I shave every day Bolzano blades provide the smoothest, efficient and most comfortable 2-3 passes shave out of many blades I've tried. I am on my third Bolzano blade right now and I am getting consistently 6 shave per blade - something unheard of any blades I've shaved with. Best bang for my buck so far. And I.B. - great service guys!
