    Derby blades worthy of the title "Premium"

    First off I would just like to say I hated the Derby Extras. With my tough hairs the Extras felt like I was ripping them out. But reviewers said the Premium ones were different, ok, I'll try. I actually like these! Very smooth and a wee bit sharper than their usual line up but still less sharp than average. Managed a BBS shave and no nicks, a little irritation but for my skin that's typical. I like the Russian made blades better for my daily mild type razor but on an aggressive or open comb razor these would be ideal.

    Sharp and smooth

    Very good blade. Sharp and smooth, similar to Personna red & lab blue.
    Nothing like Derby Extra. Minimal glue dots, unlike Russian blades.
    Lasts me 4-5 shaves (3 passes + touch ups on each shave) 5th shave feels getting dull. I flip the blade each shave and use a marker make a dot for each time. Long lasting, I usually get 2-3 shaves from most blades.
