    XXX FRESCO shares the same great scent as our bestselling XXX with a menthol kick achieved with the addition of Menthol and Camphor.  XXX Fresco is a very soft traditional Italian shaving soap, some people call this style of soap a "firm cream" or "croap" (cream soap).  It is intended to be used with a shaving brush.  You may either scoop out a dollop, place it into a shaving bowl/mug and proceed to bowl-lather or you can load the soap directly onto the brush by gentling swirling a damp brush right on top of the soap in the jar, then proceed to create the lather right on your face. Please note, if you introduce water into the soap, make sure to allow the soap to fully dry prior to covering it again with the lid; if you don't allow the soap to dry you run the risk of ruining it.  If you are a new traditional wet shaver, feel free to email me and I can send you some links to lathering tutorials on YouTube.

    For XXX FRESCO we wanted to create a very traditional upscale packaging so we used a heavy glass jar with an aluminum lid.  It makes a perfect gift for any special someone!

    Scent: Fresh and clean; the classic Italian Colonia scent, some people refer to it as the classic Italian Barber Shop scent. Inspired by Acqua di Parma Colonia Classica with a Fresco kick achieved by adding menthol and camphor.

    Scent Olfactory Pyramid:

    Top Notes: Bergamot, Orange, Lemon, Orange Blossom, Menthol
    Heart Notes: Lilac, Lavender, Rose, Basil
    Base Notes: Hay, Tonka Bean, Patchouli, Musk, Sandalwood, Oakmoss 


    Ingredients: Stearic Acid, Water(Eau), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Tallow Acid, Menthol, Camphor, Potassium, Hydroxide, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance(Parfum), Amylcinnamic Aldehyde, Benzyl Alcohol, Citral, Coumarin, Eugenol, Geraniol, Hydrocitronellal, Limonene, Linalool, Isoeugenol, A-Isomethylionone, Oakmoss(Evernia Prunasti).

    These will be produced and sold in VERY small batches because of time restraints on the artisan making the soap.  If it's "out of stock" please sign up for the email notification and you will be emailed as soon as it goes back in stock.  

    If you are ordering this soap in the summer months, please be aware that the soap is very soft and can melt and separate if left inside a hot postal truck or hot mailbox for an extended period of time.  For those living in extremely hot climates like the southern USA (in the summer), it's probably best to order this product in the cooler months of the year where normal outside temperatures are below 80F.  In the event that the soap arrives soft, please make sure to leave it at room temperature for a few hours and it will go back to its original consistency.

    Great addition to the Razorock XXX series of fine soap.

    I really enjoy the regular RR XXX soap and it's hot out & Italian barber has a great sale going on in July so why not buy + getting low in other RR soap supplies. The soap texture is a little whiter in texture and closer to cream than a croap. The scent is very close to the regular XXX but there is a mild scent of menthol + the lather is easy to generate in my lathering bowl.
    The lather results when applied to the face indicate very nice creamy lather with excellent lather qualities with not a overwhelming menthol freeze sensation + with out running eyes that usually come with soaps & aftershaves over mentholated that does not turn my crank.
    I noticed by 3rd pass(cleanups) that face was feeling refreshed & cooled to nice level. Post shave feel is good also.
    The soap is a keeper and will give lots of folks a nice fresh cool feeling that does not take away from the regular XXX brand. Great job on the soap formula for us wet shavers.

    Great product; poor packaging!

    This shaving soap smells just as good, if not better than the usual XXX, and has a creamier and denser consistency. It is a real pleasure to work with. However, the packaging has been poorly conceived. Inevitably the jar will get wet with use and when that happens the label disintegrates, leaving a very sticky and stubborn glue underneath. This turns an otherwise pleasant ritual into an unseemly mess. On this basis alone, I won't reorder this product. My recommendation would be to stick with the original XXX in the trusty plastic container.

    Great soap

    This has the same great scent of XXX, but I the lather and performance is a step above the original. I expected the camphor and menthol to stand out more than they do, though, as I find them barely noticeable.

    Excellent value

    You get a lot for very little—a superb value. It’s gorgeous. No crazy post-shave moisturizing wonderjuice here, but dollar for dollar you get satisfying slickness and creamy, easy to work lather, in a whopping 8.5 ounces (250 ml) tub. And the scent is so calming and refreshing. You can’t go wrong. It’s the ultimate dumb-reach. Well done, Razorock.

    Great scent

    Just had the chance to use this soap i purchased a few weeks ago. Beautiful Scent and Performed great like most IB soaps do. But i didn't get even a hint of menthol or camphor with my three pass shave. Maybe once i start using it more often the menthol will come out..
