    Awesome kit. I purchased this kit to give to my son as his first shaving kit. It was fun to bond over shaving and smelling good. It makes a great "right of passage gift"

    Great value, but could be better.

    I'd change two things about this kit to give it five stars, but there's also room for an upgrade version with IB's newer products.

    First, include a styptic pencil or the Clubman gel.
    Next, include a few more sets of blades as a default. Most people who are buying a complete kit would benefit from trying at least a 5-pack of Derby and Nacet or Feather before settling in something like Astra.

    Add $5 if you need to, it's worth it to have a complete kit I can gift.

    A shaving stick container or WTP stick for travel would be a nice touch that would send it over the top. This is one of the few complete travel kits out there, so including soap the TSA won't throw out is a big deal (even if we can't completely solve the problem with blades.) The chance to get two scents in a starter kit is also worth taking advantage of.

    I prefer the stiffer B&W fibers, but the Plissoft brush is still an amazing brush, can't really complain.

    I'd really like to see a more expensive version of this kit with a better bag and a razor upgrade. The YKK zippers and leather are impressive considering it's practically free, but the zipper sticks until it breaks in, and there are no internal pockets.

    Include the Game Changer .68, a variety-pack of four blade brands, a styptic pencil, a shave stick, and a better bag, that kit would be worth spending $100 on, $120 if you have to. Sure, you can build that kit on this storefront, but telling some people to build their own kits is, sadly, "too difficult."

    I have been buying stuff from Joseph for many years now - this is probably the 10th time! Everything is always top-notch and high quality. The scents of all the different soaps are great from the subtle to the robust, and it is a fun part of wet shaving to change up the rotation. I never ever ever worry about buying anything from Italian Barber.

    I'm quite happy with this purchase. The razor is not aggressive and the brush is excellent. I stopped using natural brushes years past. The synthetic ones are as good and in many ways better. They don't shed and last longer. RazoRock synthetic brushes are among the best. The shave soap and after shave is nice because of the selections. The bag is leather. I didn't need a new dopp but I will be proud to gift it!
    I feel it's worth every penny.
