    Very good, basic razor

    If you are looking for a very good beginner razor, then consider buying the Merkur Classic 1904/1906. It is very comparable to the Merkur 34C in function. The razor however, is a three-piece design which is very easy to use, and good for travelling. It is very solid and has good weight. The level of aggressiveness puts the razor in the middle of the range which makes it perfect for beginners. I always get a very good, irritation free shave from this razor.
