  • RazoRock GOAT Double-Edge Safety Razor - CNC 316L Stainless Steel

Introducing the RazoRock GOAT, a masterfully crafted safety razor that pays homage to the iconic German 34 razor, whose patent expired in the mid-1970s.   Many believe this German 34 razor is the "G.O.A.T." in safety razors which is an acronym used to call something the "greatest of all time".  Our RazoRock GOAT is designed as an homage to this razor and is precision-engineered in Ontario, Canada.  The RazoRock GOAT is CNC milled on a state-of-the-art German 5-axis machine from billet 316L stainless steel known as "Marine Grade Stainless Steel" for its exceptional hardness, durability, and corrosion resistance in wet environments. This makes it the perfect material for a safety razor built to withstand the test of time.

The RazoRock GOAT combines cutting-edge technology with timeless design. Its razor head is 3D milled to achieve tolerances tighter than any other razor on the planet—far surpassing what cast and chrome-plated razors can offer. The result is a flawless blade fit every time, with no need for manual alignment thanks to the cleverly designed head that securely covers the blade tabs for added safety. Available with your choice of a short RazoRock hollowed HD handle or as a standalone head, this 3-piece razor also features an M5 x .8 threaded design, giving you the freedom to pair it with any compatible handle of your preference.

Crafted for those who demand the highest quality, the GOAT is finished using a 3-stage mechanical vibrating process, ensuring unparalleled precision that manual polishing and buffing simply can’t match. Looking ahead, we’re excited to announce that in the coming months we will also be adding a "+" baseplate option will be available for shavers seeking an even more aggressive shave.

Built to last lifetimes with proper care, the RazoRock GOAT is more than just a razor—it’s a heavy-duty heirloom piece, destined to be passed down through generations. Elevate your shaving experience with the GOAT: a modern masterpiece inspired by the legendary German 34, reimagined for today’s discerning shaver...dare we say that this razor is even better but we will leave that for you to decide!

Finish: Please note, these razors are tools, not jewels. We use a vibratory tumbling finish process which maintains the highest possible tolerances for the razors. This means the razors will not be mirror finished and will not be mark-free. The razors may have some milling marks or finishing marks. The razors can always be jewelry polished by the client later but our goal is to sell the razor at the best possible tolerances and lowest possible price. The metal-on-metal contact from the handle locking against the base-plate will create a ring mark on the base. It's common for handles to have micro dents from the tumbled finish.

Finish: 3 stage, 24 hour, machine vibratory finish. It's important to note that our finish is designed to de-burr and make the pieces smooth with minimum effect on machining tolerances. It's a tool-like finish and not a mirror-type high polish; each piece is unique (no two pieces will be identical). We don't believe in hand polishing our machined safety razors because it's self-defeating. We spend so much time and effort getting the tolerances tight, a hand polish will just ruin these tolerances. We would rather give you a quality tool-like finish at a great price and leave it up to you if you want to put a jewelry type polish or gun-kote at the razor later at additional cost.

    Note: Blades are not included

    Wonderful

This is like a 34C on speed! Heavier. Better balanced. More efficient. Easy to find the best angle. I was hesitant but took a shot and I’m not looking back. Buy with confidence.

    The closest shave ever

In fear of being booed off stage, I think there's to much blade feel with the goat, there I said it. I've struggled with it, I've used different blades, pre shave creams, soaps etc. Even tried changing the angle. I did get some improvement but still got a saw face, but got one hell of a shave in the mix, the closest shave ever. So I can see why everyone is raving about it. I've got about a dozen razors and it is "The greatest of all those" for a close shave, that is. I'm sure I will find a matching blade and work it all out, as it truly is a bench mark razor and a great homage to the German 34 razor.

The RazoRock GOAT is the 34C that got a well-deserved glow-up. On the most important days of my life, I’ve reached for the trusted 34C—but now, with the GOAT, I get that same confidence in a sleek, upgraded stainless steel build. It’s a brilliant idea brought to life.

The shave is, simply put, wonderful. Believe it or not, this razor actually pairs better with milder blades like the Gillette Silver Blue or Astra SP than with sharper options like Feathers. It smooths out beautifully and offers great control. Many users report getting fantastic 2-pass shaves, and I’m right there with them. That said, I think the + plate could elevate the performance even more for those looking for a bit more efficiency.

As for downsides, there’s really only one—and it’s cosmetic. The handle isn’t quite the same silver tone as other RazoRock stainless handles. Instead, it has a slight champagne-tone tint, which can look a little off when compared side-by-side. It’s not a dealbreaker by any means, but I do hope RazoRock corrects this in future runs to match the rest of their lineup more seamlessly.

Is it worth the cost? Absolutely. For the build quality, performance, and value, the GOAT earns its title.
